Royal Rangers is a Ministry to boys and young men in grades K-12. The goal of this ministry is to present Jesus Christ in a unique way and to help the individual to a personal commitment and relationship to Christ.

Royal Rangers uses the outdoors, camping and group settings to meet these goals. We endeavor to meet the Mental, Physical, Spiritual and Emotional needs as well as provide an outlet for adventure, fun and activities. However, our program is not all about camping. We also have many high adventure and challenging activities for the boys. Our Mission is to "Reach Teach and Keep Boys for Christ" and we do that through a wide variety of activities. Our motto is "Ready" -- Ready for anything…

Royal Rangers has existed since 1962 and is sponsored by the Assemblies of God. Royal Rangers is an International Organization that is present in over 70 countries worldwide.

The "Outpost" is the basic structure that holds all of the different groups. Our Outpost at First Assembly of God consists of four groups:

Ranger Kids: Representing kindergarten, first grade, and second grade boys, providing a challenging and fun advancement system to encourage boys to learn utilizing indoor and outdoor activities and games.
Discovery Rangers: Representing third, fourth, and fifth grade boys, features a merit based advancement system based on learning through camping and non-camping activities.
Adventure Rangers: Representing sixth, seventh, and eighth grade boys, is also a merit based advancement system featuring learning more challenging camping and outdoor activities while emphasizing skill development.
Expedition Rangers: Representing grades nine through twelve.
A Senior Commander and a corps of well-trained leaders who have completed many hours of instruction lead the Outpost.
